Old San Juan should be a "limited access" city. A Cultural & Historic center where tourists, patrons, citizens, etal., be able to enjoy it without the adversity of vehicles impeding free movement of pedestrians. Sidewalks are "thin" with parked cars alongside. Traffic makes it difficult to cross the street and to walk comfortably. Families and friends have to walk in a line, not side by side. vehicles emissions are affecting historic building structures and underground centennial sewer systems.

The mayor started to work to make Fortaleza and San Francisco Street "vehicle free" venues, but after what I thought to be a genueine effort, the game of politics appeared and any positive movement came to a halt.
