New Chat Feature
A few notes:
1- The Chat Feature integrates Instant Messenger (one on one) as well as the open chat (for logged in members) at the Main Room.
2- To Chat privately with another member all you have to do is to click on the member's profile photo. This will open a window to go to the member's page or to start the Instant Messenger with the person. On the box at the top of the chat the name of the person will appear. You could switch on that same box from the private room created or back to the Main.
3- The application also gives you the ability to maintain simultaneous private conversations by clicking on someone else profile photo.
4- When you log in to MyarchN you will automatically appear on the chat, if you will like to hide your avatar from the chat while logged in all you have to do is to select offline at the top right hand corner of the Chat.
5-As of today a draw back with the Chat is the absence of a notification (visual or by sound) when someone start a conversation. This could be causing for the other to miss the message, so if your request wasn't answered don't take it personal, most likely it was missed.
6-Additional to the chat feature on the middle column on the bottom of the main page, you could find an enlarged version of it by hovering over the Members tab and clicking chat on the sub-menu. The enlarge Chat feature is handy for managing simultaneous sessions.
