Open Bauhaus - Opportunity to buy an original Bauhaus villa in Germany

Dear architecture enthusiasts, dear Bauhaus fans!

In the green outskirts of Kaiserslautern there's a Bauhaus villa
from 1928 on a large site.
The Villa Glaeser is not inhabitated now and available for purchase, to save it from slow decay in the years to come.

I want to use the web to spread the opportunity beyond the region and contribute to save a cultural memorial.
It would be great if we could find interested parties or people who forward this to modern architecture lovers
who would like to own an original from 1928 in a green surrounding.

Best regards,
Volker Hoffmann, architect

For those who want to take a look at the Villa:

According to the local newspaper 'Rheinpfalz' there's an event called
'Open Bauhaus' with the opportunity to view/inspect the villa
on June 5th, 2009, 2pm

Address:
Villa Glaeser
Eselsfuerth 22
67657 Kaiserslautern
Germany
(The site between the two ponds on Google Maps)

A photo of Villa Glaeser and more information can be found on the pages of
Generaldirektion Kulturelles Erbe Rheinland-Pfalz (Cultural Heritage Rhineland-Palatinate):

I have no idea what the owner might demand for the building. Whoever buys it should also consider that there has to be some money invested to reinstate parts of the construction, and that the cultural heritage authority will not permit that it's demolished and replaced by something mundane, but will take care that it's restored in a suitable manner. These folks are usually quite reasonable though, knowing that they have to find a common ground with a buyer or it will just rot.

The condition according to a newspaper article: Roof damages from copper theft, some humidity damage in the basement walls. The villa can be inspected at June 5th, and probably later too.

I just spread the word, so, if you know enthusiastic people - a wealthy patron of the arts or groups like those activists, you're very welcome to just forward this thread to them.
They can of course also contact me by mail, I will help english speakers to get in contact with the people who are involved with this if necessary.

Best, Volker
