Since I chosen the topic of essay for physics of construction I was wandering if I can find some interesting examples of 'Ogród zimowy' in other countries.

It is not accidental to write this name in polish - It's because it is not easy to translate that term in English. Ogród zimowy means the same as German: Wintergarden, but in other languages is more complicated.

Ogród zimowy - Wintergarden is in polish law described as building cubature which has at least one wall and bigger part of roof made of transparent material. I guess is similar o german description. I found also english book titled Sunroom, but it's not exactly the same..
In wikipedia we can read: A sunroom is a structure, usually constructed onto the side of a house, to allow enjoyment of the surrounding landscape while being sheltered from adverse weather conditions such as rain and wind. The concept is popular in the United States, Europe, Canada, Northern Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. In Great Britain,
it is normally described as a conservatory, although the room may not
contain plants. However a British sunroom has a solid opaque roof
whereas a conservatory has a transparent  roof.

I already found technical informations for my essay in polish and some examples.
But I would like to ask you, what do you think about sunrooms. Maybe you can show me some interesting examples of houses with sunrooms, maybe some advantages and disadvantages of using them in modern housing

We also refer to Wintergarden as 'Solarium'...here is a gallery of examples from a builder in Canada http://www.permawood.com/cedar-solarium-gallery.shtml

Wooow. Stahl house looks stunning !

And about solarium - that's just what I was looking for. Many thatks! :)
A small note. In english we call it 'glulam', pronounced 'Glue Lam'; or glued laminated timber. By the way your english is very good, at least, your writing is well done. curious as to where you learned. Good luck...
Thanks for this tip :) I was pretty sure there is a special name for it.
I was English learning since I was 8 years old till the final exams in high school - it's quite a long time. But I still think I should use it more, because now at the Univeristy I don't have language classes anymore. Guess that page is the only reason to use English ;)
Of course.
I agree, the Stahl house looks stunning -m
Do you know, I adore the concept of sun rooms -I like these examples very much
