To me, architecture involves both design and art. So, it seems like a perfectly natural progression for architects to manifest their creativity in different forms of design. All of the shoe designs that have been posted on this thread are extremel...
Actually, I don't think that one necessarily has to study materials or the human body in order to design everyday objects. Rather one really has to use one's common sense, which sometimes designers seem to throw out the window, when their priority...

dpr_barcelona en el Festival eme3 COLLAPSE

La cita es:
Lugar: Auditorium del MACBA -Barcelona
Hora: 16,00 horas

Continue

Crisis! What Crisis?

My Dear Ethel
May your heart be full of love and wonderful inspiration, and your mind become quiet so that it will perceive more clearly, the astounding creativity that lies within you - patiently awaiting its rebirth in the New Year.

In the troubled times ahead never for one moment doubt that you are a brilliant, loving and a courageous soul.

With peace and love to you over the festive season ... Look forward to seeing what you post for next year. With much appreciation....

Salut

Hi Ethel, thanks so much for your kind comments and gorgeous art.

The photo below is of the scissor arch at Wells Cathedral, which I visited as a child. It has personal significance to me because it filled me with wonder that something so massive could appear so light, and a love affair with architecture began in earnest.

BTW, I put Watercube on my Wish List at Amazon and if no one gets it for me for Christmas, I will get it for myself. It looks completely fab!
