- I was graduated as an architect from Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana (ITT) (1993) and earned a master´s degree in social sciences aplicated at UABC (1999) (Mexicali, BC. Mexico).In 2000 i founded Gilberto Aguilar Studio. In 2007, i am fellow of Colegio de Arquitectos de Tijuana (CATAC). Since 2000 I am professor of architecture history at ITT.

Malaika means Angel in Swahili. We try to make a real difference in the kids' lives, even though I'm so busy catching up at work I don't have much time to devote to it at the moment.
Professor of Architecture History sounds like an absolutely marvellous job, sharing your passion with others and inspiring them!
