I hear you will be in Dubai mid september - nice time as the weather is cooling down :)
It has been a while since i have logged back onto the site and see that a lot has been happening and i have been missing out.
So what is news from your side? any latest projects up your sleeve or some good advice to give me?
Hello Husam, I'm doing a Ba(hons) in Interior Architecture 4 years courses. I have one more year to finish my study in Malaysia. I would like to know more about working in Dubai in an Interior Design field. I did my 6 months training in one big company in Malaysia, Axis Identity Group Kuala Lumpur www.axisidentity.com
Do you think is it easy for a fresh graduate to get a job in Dubai?
Hi Husam, thanks for your feedback and yip you are right ive been trying to get some business from various architects and interior designers however its been far from few...Many of them are telling me that their office projects have been put on hold until further notice. One said to me that they'll find out what the story is at the end of March. I hope it changes and the projects start again! I have a meeting next week in Jebel Ali (Jafza area) and hope i get some business. Do you know of any Big interior designers within Dubai?
thanks a lot!
thank you so much for your response. I heard that a lot of the projects that were planned in Dubai were stopped. And also that some of the projects that were developed overseas are going to be done in-house now... I guess that makes sense. A lot of professionals have gone to work there. US is a nightmare now, everyone is getting lay off and no one from architecture or landscape is getting hired. How do see the economy else where? I know that this has been a chain reaction. But for a young professional like me... where should I look for to find a good job! I was thinking Australia... I need help.
