Lee Chun Design Service:

It is striving to be "Global Designers' Back Office"! It doesn't compete with designers or design firms, instead, it succeeded in helping designers and design firms become more successful.

It provides value-added services, because most of its team members are designers, who really know the design process and how the buildings are bulit. However, the price is reasonable (you can see from home page of its website) because it strives to remain low cost. In its experience, its clients (designers or design firms) in US can cut 40%+ of their annual cost still with the same or higher productivity.

Its services include:
* CAD Conversions, Revit Modeling, Sketchup Modeling,
* Architecture Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents,
* Landscape Design, Interior Design, Structure Design,
* Drawing Translation b/t Chinese and English,
* Paper Work, etc.

EXPO 2010 in Shanghai

EXPO 2010 will start on May 1, 2010 in Shanghai. This is a very big event for all human beings and I'm very excited to welcome all friends from different countries and areas as a Chinese citizen. Also, I think that many architects and engineers all around the world will visit Shanghai. I want to do something voluntary to make their visiting easier and make friends with them. I don't know what types of assistance would be very helpful for them. Free translation is the only one I can come up with… Continue

Offshore Outsourcing

The first impression of outsourcing firms to clients is: doing low-end work, cheap, hard to control quality and schedule. It's preconception, because, though some outsourcing firms are doing low-end work only and really hard to control, there are many great outsourcing firms, which provide high-quality work with out-of-box thinking within schedules and with low costs.

However, the preconception has its reasons:

1) The geographical distance and time difference make it stress-free for some irres… Continue

Life is like sleeping...

It rains often in Shanghai and it rained a lot in the past couple of weeks. But this weekend is extremely sunny without any cloud, the air is clear and the breeze is warm.

In this leisure sunny Sunday, I'm thinking how wonderful life is and what's the meaning of life. Life is short, and as a very popular comic star in China said:"life is like sleeping: close your eyes and open your eyes, one day past; close your eyes and never open, a whole life past." In the short time, we shoud do what we are… Continue

We provide unique cladding services in Canada, You can see what we do at www.engineeredassemblies.com. If you were able to provide design service from Shanghai, I would be interested. I created a team in Shanghai for electronic / mechanical design for the electronics industry, so I understand outsourcing. I am not sure how it would work in our business.

Thanks
