Thanks for your reply, Letecia. I understand very well indeed. Researching schools is no easy task, even armed with the excellent and exhaustive books on the subject, and one's decision can have such an impact on one's life, it's not one to deal with lightly. (On the flip side, I've known architects simply to go to the school nearest them, with no further thought on the matter, and it turned out very well!)
I wish you the best in your endeavours!
Hi Letecia, how was your Summer? Are things looking up for you? Things have been a little crazy on my end, what with travel and fires in L.A. (I had to evacuate) and looking for remunerative work. Always do a lot of pro bono work and there is never any shortage of that, and what's more, it is very satisfying. Hope you're well!
Hi Letecia: My advice when work is scarce, is to introduce yourself to as many people as you can, in line of work, specially your friends, friends of your family, people you meet at parties, etc, you never know when somebody is going to say to you: Hey, could you stop by my house/office? That way the incentive becomes an inquiry, then a job, your expertise gets you somewere.
Work can be small projects, which evolve into, yes...money in your pocket, remember the saying: " A buck begets a buck", Trust me on this, I do it all the time, it's like fishing...you catch a little one first, then another bigger catches on the line.
