About Me:

I am a 43 year old architect.

Practice architecture for 20 years.
Using the BIM method for 8 years.
Teaching BIM at an architecture university for 4 years.

I am a firm believer in the Building Information Modeling methodologies.
My opinion is that virtual modeling is much more powerful than drafting, and I have the experience to confirm this.

As a one man show, my architectural practice designs buildings that usually go to bigger firms, like 3.000 m2 schools, 2.000 m2 fire stations, 4.000 m2 elder homes. This is only possible because I use BIM to it´s full extension.

I am also very interested on the subject of interface between architect and tools, thus my work on Second Life and architectural education. I believe that the interface of CAD/BIM software will evolve in the direction of immersive environments.

My software is ArchiCAD for modeling and ArtLantis for rendering.
