A gunshot to the head of trepidation.

It's time for a blog post with an update of what the school year brings.

I have 4 classes I'm taking. The college cancelled 2 classes i was registered for, 'construction documents' and 'ethics and practice'. They claimed they couldn't find a teacher.

So, the classes i do have are, studio that has focus on integrating building systems, a building technology class that will focus on different building system types and applications, urban design theory and principles, and a… Continue

Up the Irons!!!

To begin and for those who by unfortunate circumstance stumble upon this blog, I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Arizona, in Tucson, AZ.

I've been on this site for a few years and normally come on here to peruse articles and look at the pretty pictures.

I'm in my 4th year of a 5 year accredited program here at U of A.

I figure this next school year I'll blog about everything we do. I figure it'll be good to spew my thoughts out on projects and problems… Continue

Hi Chris, I have to agree with you (I'm sitting in an A/C room away from the fires as I write, however, so it's easy to agree that the heat is easier to take than the cold!) The last few days have been a bit much, though. Had to evacuate due to fires.

Thanks for your reply, Chris! I know Arizona pretty well (that's why I don't live there, ha!) No, really, it is quite beautiful and in your area, the skies are spectacularly huge, like John Wayne movie sets.
Between having lived in Arizona and the UAE, my heat/cold tolerance changed. I don't need A/C when others are complaining it's too hot, but now when I am in London I get cold (never did before) so I guess you will adapt before you melt! Have you lived there all your life?

Hello Chris. As I'm in a heatwave, your photo looks especially appealing. Best of luck with your studies! I have a feeling you'll do great.
