Michael McKenzie Should we save Charles Dickens writing chalet?

Charles Dickens, the famous author who wrote A Tale of Two Cities and Great Expectations, did most of his writing in a wooden chalet which was originally built in the grounds of his Gadshill home in Kent which many years after his death, was moved in neary 100 sections to Eastgate House in

se_cris Get moody!

Every time I conclude that one more time “it’s all about mood”! More and more people complain about lack of time, but it’s their lack of
good mood they fit into. What else makes the time relative than just mood?

I’m human too and l behave alike the others. I just dislike to repeat things in a raw, therefore I can’t accept to complain about lack of
time anymore. The talking books about time m

Michael Drewes About Gustavo Manrique

To Rafael Marxuach:

Dear Mr. Marxuach:

During my recent visit to Mexico I learned that the date on which Gustavo Manrique passed away was on 30 September 2009 and not, as I wrote before, on 7 October 2009. The cause of death was a heart attack. I still received three engravings more by him, photographed them and wish to upload them onto his page. Unfortunately, I forgot the password. So I kindly ask you to indicate me a way to upload them.

Thanking

Second life illustrations or virtual designs might have a place in the field of Architecture. maybe it is already used, I just am not that familiar with it. Edi Gardner Contemplating the Void: Interventions in the Guggenheim Museum, New York

February 12 - April 28, 2010 Since its opening in 1959, the Frank Lloyd Wright–designed Guggenheim building has served as an inspiration for invention, challenging artists and architects to react to its eccentric, organic design. The central void of the rotunda has elicited many unique responses over the years, which have been manifested in both site-specific solo shows and memorable exhibition designs. For the building’s 50th anniversary, the Guggenheim Museum invited nearly two hundred artist… Continue

Elizabeth Clothing and Being

The passing of designer and l’enfant terrible, Alexander McQueen, recalls the interrelationship between fashion and architecture. To some, architecture reflects society and culture; to others, architecture is culture, architecture creates and reproduces society. To a degree, I feel that way about fashion—what we wear is not mContinue

Elizabeth A Sampling of Pleasures at MyarchN….

I am delighted, amazed and invigorated by the creative people who gather here on this friendly network about architecture and related arts. Setting aside the growing socio-economic network patterns (and who knows where they will lead?) this trans-spatial “space” is also great fun.

There are so many gifted artists and architects on this site that I can only select a few at random who have enriched my life in one way or another. If you already know their work, it’s a
