I listen to the birds this time of year. We have a nature watch programme in UK with Bill Oddie to make the seasonal transition from Spring to Summer. .. Keith

Hi Kate
We have lots of mountains, lakes, forests and spetacular scenery (and lots of sheep!) downunder in New Zealand. It is sometimes known as "The Land of the Long White Cloud" or "Godsown" and "1/4 acre Pavlova Paradise".

Have you ever ventured down here?
regards
Michael

yes, he had a different name for it back then... when he showed us the past stuff of when he called it "poetics" i commented that i liked it, he laughed at me, then the next year it was "poetic" again, i'll never forget that. i do regret not ever having him for studio.
i love the color orange, the lamp was sort of a dorm room shrine for me, its made of plastic jugs. there are large holes for the wires, around those holes are slits where i wedged stips of the same material (securing one jug to its neighbor). its meant to hang against the wall (open side against the wall) using fishing wire. i like that you said something because im about to start another quick project with the same idea, a friends bed head board.
