I read the book right before I saw it last. The book was visionary, but I have to say that this is the rare time where the script is better, and the photography... amazing.

New York is great. By the way, Blade Runner is one of my favorites (what architect doesn't love that movie!).. I just watched it again a few weeks ago. It never disappoints..
